I cannot believe the negative comments. Rest assured most of them from men with no flying experience - probably no military experience either. Some of the best positive comments were from retired military men! And one answer to a certain negative about what's so hard about what they've done. First of all they have bucked every obstacle put in their way of which there have been many. They are graduates of an extremely difficult top notch college as well. The air force is trying to clean up their image regarding sexual harrassment and I hope this helps. As far as beefy guys helping load heavy cargo THAT IS THEIR JOB! They aren't paid to stand and watch. They are the ground crew doing their job. My thanks to this crew and all the positive commentators who actually know what they're talking about!

My wife (Capt. Susan Rogers Regele) was in command of the very first all female flight crew in the military on a C-9 Medevac flight out of and returning to ScottAFB, IL. after multiple stops delivering and picking up patients. The 4 star MAC Commander launched the mission. This mission was in the very late 70's.

My Aunt Louise was in the Women's Army Air Corps in WWII. She flew the hump in C-47's in China/Burma/India at 'Hudson on the Hooglie', an Army base in India. She never married. I asked her "What is your secret to living to 105? She answered me with two words: "Don't Die!"

This video caught my eye as it was headlining the 21st Airlift Squadron. My late father Phil was a charter member and third commander of the squadron in Australia in WW2. He would be gratified, as am I, to see such a accomplished and professional crew of women carrying on the best traditions of the squadron! Thank you for your service!

It's amazing that C-17s from this squadron are regularly seen at RAF Mildenhall. That's a long sortie!

I once hitched a ride in a C-124 Globemaster II. It was like riding in a flying barn. It was awesome. Loved this video, what a great crew.

I flew back seat to an American Colonel. F-15 E and 9G all damn day. His wife flew a puddle Jumper to their Cottage. I swear the moves this Lady of the Walk took to put it down was nothing more than shear Magic. Cheers Doves of a stick and a lot of Rudder.

What a job. My Army days was filled with slogging around in the Infantry. Setting up that heavy as hell four-deuce mortar gun, M-30. Sweat, dirt, mud and stink 24/7.

My favorite story of an all female crew was a C-5 flight to Afghanistan from Travis AFB. They were carrying a battalion of Marines. The SMAG told the loadmaster he'd never worked with a female loadmaster before. She told him it was an all female crew. Shocked, he said "there are only women in the cockpit?" She smiled and told him "We call it the box office"...

Well, it's nice to see the 21st back to being a tac airlift squadron. I was in it during the C-130 days and it was sad when they turned it into a strat airlift C5 operation.

Not gonna lie, this was a pretty darn awesome video to watch! I had absolutely no idea the US had all-female crews like this, let alone on one of their primary lift aircraft! So, it was as much a shock to see as it was impressive... Good on these ladies for their current career choices and at the same time good on the US military for making this happen!

I was in the 21st TCS in 1966. We used the C-130a.

40 years ago I was in the 75th Military Airlift Squadron flying C-5s. That squadron was redesignated the 21st Airlift Squadron, but still flying C-5s. Today the 21st is flying C-17s - my, how times change…..
