Membury will soon become the home of the C-47A-65-DL known as "Night Fright" which is being restored to flight at Coventry Airport. What is unique about the project is that C-47 'Night Fright' operated from Membury in WWII as part of the 436th Troop Carrier Group, and will be the only airworthy warbird to fly from its actual WWII airfield.
As friends of the team behind C-47 'Night Fright', it became one of the first collaborative product of the Warbird Coffee Company.
Each bag sold directly contributes to the restoration of this unique aircraft, which dropped Paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division over Normandy and Holland in WWII, delivered British Troops to Southern France during Operation Dragoon, dropped supplies to the 101st at Bastogne, and carried members of the 17th Airborne Division to Germany during Operation Varsity.

Thank you so much! Ive just found Warbird coffee companyhoogled it, was directed back here to you tube. I come from s military family, my grandpa getting the war medal in 1916 only to be killed in his home tiwn and leaving my gran a widow with 7 children. He was on scaffolding, fell and got impaled. Dad, mum, aunts, uncles all WW11 and my brother in his 60s has been building the wings of planes at our Prestwick aerospace /spirit plant. I have a keen interestbin borh wars, having enjoyed teaching it. Ive made a good find tonight because i can buy him this coffee as a thank you for helping me go through a tough time. In Ayr, our town. There is Liberatir srive - a shopping complex but where a Liberator crashed during WW11. Loads of interesing faxts for us. Thanks for showing me which type if coffee to buy too!
