Whether she wore hip pads or not, ITZY's Yuna was surprised at that question (Seeing her shocked? reaction). I've seen comments on this TV show and it's mostly the hosts asking insensitive topics/scandals or questions to other celebrities they were told not to ask. Since the producers usually discuss the topics they were going talk about with their company/management, I feel like this question wasn't discussed before the shoot? I don't know but the editors/producers of the show seem really disrespectful to let their hosts ask about such a sensitive topic. - I guess not many get asked similar questions(fake accusations) but it's actually real awkward and uncomfortable in person. I don't see feeling uncomfortable for her it meant to be soft. I'm not even familiar with the band.

Writers ask the guests directly which topics they can talk about and they have a prompter in front of them so guests can prepare their answers. It's a scripted interviews. It's not a gotcha interview....but maybe more so for the idiots online who say she wears hip pads.

It depends, theres interviews from like this show where they asked things clearly that were told not to ask others yes, like an interview with Hara and Snsd that were disrepectful for them, they were talking about their private love life. This program can offer a place to clarify certain things but there where times that don't.

Its all scripted and questions are based on the pre interview she gave. I don't understand why we always talk about a woman's morphology or her scandals instead of talking about her music? What's so interesting about this and, as luck would have it, the people who ask these questions are always men and never women. South Korea still has a lot of progress to make when it comes to women because it has a very misogynistic image. On the other hand, these questions are never put to men, but always to women.😅

Wow, it is sad to see ppl in the comments hate on yuna for who she is. Of course we know that she wears hip pads, so what's the problem? You guys talk about her "denying" the rumors and how she is a bad "influence" to other women. But none of you realize what she has to go through, all of the dilemmas she has to deal with. You can SEE her hip pads - especially at her weight, it is physically impossible for her to magically lose hip dips and gain rounded hips that stick out further than her thighs. That’s not how basic human anatomy works. Knowledge of that and being able to see the hip pads alone are irrefutable proof she’s wearing them.

Because she doesn’t and never has. She’s an inverted triangle body shape, that does not magically change even as your hips slowly widen whilst you age. Her hips jut out unnaturally, their widest point is over where her hip dips used to be (naturally round hips are not, their widest point is lower than that) and her hips do not connect to her thighs. That, coupled with the fact that there’s a fan filmed video of her in China last year with the same hips as when she debuted, is proof alone.
