Xiumin is a person completely different without Exo, I don't know if it's about the group's dinamic or SM because I have seen cuts of showtime where Xiumin was more proactive and fancam of a tv show when he got the spotlight and on the aired version didn't appear that part, remember they use scripts and the screentime is decided beforehand and they have certain role in the group, like the funny one, the competitive one, the sexy one, the cute one.... so it could be that they have to fit an image within the group, so they act difficult or the edition focus in certain traits. Idk for sure, obviously, but Xiumin is like the day and night when he go solo versus with the group and I have seen DO acting all cute and doing aegyo in other activities, so it's my guess.
