Interesting group. Above average vocals and sang well live. Look up their Always 2 concert. It's great and they used a live band. GFriend (2015), Lovelyz (2015), Oh My Girl (2014) are pretty similar. GFriend did pretty well and the girls were making money after a few years. I don't think Lovelyz made much, but probably got paid a little bit. Pandemic hurt them. They likely would have done a few international tours. Oh My Girl pushed way harder on touring earlier and had a bit of resurgence the last few years.

@@HKim0072 Lovelyz and GFriend were both screwed over by their companies wanting to focus on new girl groups, both were money/ hit makers but not big enough for their companies, GFriend had no Idea of their disbandment and were very surprised by it, Lovelyz were given such a bad offer for contract renewal all but one member left Woolim entertainment and whilst they haven't officially disbanded there's no real activity as a group since, apart from occasional tv appearances

@@andreww2098 My first job out of college was for a large Fortune 500 corporation. Was just an entry level job, but one thing I know for sure. Companies don't walk away from money if they are doing well. The reality is most groups even successful ones will fade over time. Look at SNSD. Their album sales really faltered toward the end of their contract. Taeyeon stayed very relevant. Just comes down to the Kpop business model and limited resources by a company. Likely, it doesn't make sense to keep sinking money into a lesser return. Some groups / companies like Apink will keep on chugging, but they scale back the amount of resources they invest. Kpop groups are a young person's game. Very few groups like Brown Eye Girls or Apink.

Base on your opinion 😂 but not stated in any billboard or album sales facts. If they were big they wouldn’t disband. Even though i like them cause i still search for mijoo content and kei was recently competiting in queendom puzzle and made it in at the final episodes but to say they are the best is just funny

7/8 of them didn't renew contract back in 2021, but they didn't actually disband. They recently reunited in this show for a festival and their 10th anniversary.

I was wondering about that while watching the video and I had to check to see if EL7Z UP had already disbanded or not.

I believe EL7ZUP just a project group by MNet so they gonna perform mainly in KCON since most of the member have their own group activity

Not important enough...? I highly doubt that. Kei isn't like that. It seems more likely to me that she only mentioned Notre-Dame de Paris because El7z Up isn't active right now and her musical is what she's currently busy with in real time. It also might have been a bit awkward to mention her other group when the purpose of this episode was to highlight Lovelyz and their reunion after so many years. 😅

I really like that show but it didn’t catch much attention and el7z up didn’t do well at all on the charts
