This is a really fun mission once you get your base secure from air attacks, i got overwhelmed on my first few attempts because theres so much crap coming at you early on!

when you've got an island full of ore... but can't build a refinery on it :X

Well.. if you really want you can send some LST's with Ore Trucks in them back and forth to harvest and dump that isolated island ore even though it's kinda uncomfortable and pretty much unnecessary.. xD

@@CommandAndConquerGameplays I now kinda want that to be a thing in a custom map... maybe like your first/only base has only one ore mine, and the only options for ore is LST's and the long distance harvesting that comes with it. it'd be a tough logistics challenge with enough enemy boats. it'd be like that one mission in vanilla RA, the one where you get two MCV's and definitely don't have enough resources to beat it without expanding to the island. maybe set it in the svalbard island of denmark or something for fluff 'n stuff. main thing is, need to make it so that you can't build a refinery there, and have to bring things back to base.

Hmm interesting.. maybe your comment & idea will inspire someone to design such kind of a mission in the future ;P
