Another desoldering tool, the Yihua 929D-V heater/sucker all in one unit. This is for through hole boards, NOT surface mount.
And this thing works AMAZINGLY well. It’s going on my standard workbench, this unit pulled solder from single layer AND through hole plated boards fast as heck. No back and forthing, just one heat/suck cycle and the component is loose. And it’s one-hand use!
HIGHLY recommend, this thing is a dream.

I think you'll love it. Used it last night on a "real" project and again, de-soldered no fuss in an instant.

Glad you like it, ordered one a few days ago. £10 delivered from Ali Express. I have a Yihua Soldering Station which works well for me.

Thanks! Yeah, it's one of those tools you don't need often, but when you do it's great to have such a good oe at hand.

Hi CK, do you know where I can get a replacement seal for this please. It’s the blue seal under the chamber sealing the chamber to the nozzle part what’s the proper name for it?

Hm. It's not a standard o-ring, it's a molded piece of silicon, so no off-the-shelf replacement, probably only available through Yihua. I couldn't find it, might be best to post a question on the product page, they seem to be quick to respond.
