I work on an oncology unit as a nursing assistant and we see a lot of hospice patients come through and a lot of loss. But we are there with them when they leave this journey to start the next. This is a song I play often for my patients getting ready to leave this life. It hurts so much to play it for them but I honestly feel there isn’t a better song for them to hear. I work in a catholic hospital and this song comes up a lot. If I can give them a little peace, I will do it. 💔

Despite most people referring to this song as being used for death, in Italy we use this song for church wedding. It's referred to as a new beginning. Regardless, it's beautiful and can be used however someone feels.❤️💜 Thank you Celine.

**********My testimony for Mother Maria! ********** Right before the moment My mom passed away, I was praying Hail Mary prayer to Mother Maria asking her to let my mom leave in peace. Suddenly my mom looked up with her arms held up wide open. It just looks like she found someone she has been missing for so long. In 2 seconds, she closed her eyes and stopped breathing immediately. Nurse came over and said she has no breath and pluse. I am sure Mother Maria came to take her to heaven. For those who lost your loved ones, pray to Mother Maria. She will take him/her to heaven as Mother Maria is for real.

JUAN Martinez yeah, sadly to say my mom,s health is declining and doing her hospice at home at my brother, s residence. All her life she introduced herself as Terry or Theresa, her middle name,. Her actual name is Maria Theresa and as a Catholic I picked the name as my saint name and later learned it was also my grandmother,s name, her mother, too. Would like to have this played at her funeral. So sorry about your Mom. ✋💖💖💖

My parents both had beautiful voices and my father was the Choir Director at our Church. They would sing this together at Midnight Mass or my mother would do it solo. She has amazing tone, but she got the vowels all wrong. And she rolled her R’s: “Ave Mrrrri-ya.” This was very grating. And too much fancy ornamentation in the melody lines. I don’t even mind the arrangement from piano to guitar with synth pads. The recording stands on its own, but it has its flaws. Not the best, for me. @deathtrap5556
