This is so crazy! First time I ever saw Celine was in Moncton NB Canada, at a high school. I won tickets on the radio. I think it was 1990. Still can't believe I was so lucky to have had this experience. ❤❤

Céline tried a lot on releasing pop and dance songs but only few of them reached success. People kinda prefer her singing ballads instead of club songs, what I completely disagree with. Her voice is perfect for dance music, all of her efforts were amazing. Give a try on her french albums, such as D'Eux or Des Mots Qui Sonnent. they are completely diferent from the english ones and are filled with lots of groovy pop songs!

I wonder why this wasn't so well known to many people because this is one hell of a masterpiece! As a kid born in the very end of the 90s and one that loves Celine Dion's entire discography, I would love for her to take a trip back to her dance pop era. Her voice and charisma in her music meshes perfectly in the dance pop genre of music.

It was only released in Canada and Japan. The song was also released by Laura Branigan in the US and Lory Bianco in Germany, all in 1990.

She's done a couple of dance tracks throughout her earlier career -- but she never had an entire "dance pop era".

Also, this was from her debut album in English. Her Anglo-audience didn't really catch on to her work (besides this album's "Where Does My Heart Beat Now?") until she did her second English-Language album (Celine Dion) in 1992 (with "Beauty & the Beast", "If You Asked Me To", and "Love Can Move Mountains" cementing her English-Language career). Unison was a (very controversial, at first) hit in Quebec (as were all of her albums -- all French, of course -- leading up to that point), but Quebec is a small market in the grand scheme of things.

Yes this is from her first english album entitled ''Unison'' back in 1990. This dance version of the song was only released in Canada and Japan and it was an instant mega hit of course. It played in clubs and on the radio for at least one year constantly all across Canada. Too bad this version has yet to be released in the USA and around the world. Cheers
