Bai Mon - Mui Dien belongs to Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen province, approximately 550 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City. Mui Dai Lanh is the end point of the Dai Lanh mountain range, which extends directly into the sea, located at geographic coordinates 12 degrees 53 minutes 48 seconds north latitude and 109 degrees 27 minutes 06 seconds east longitude. It is one of the eight lighthouses over 100 years old among the total of 79 active lighthouses in Vietnam, and it is situated closest to the international boundary.
Bai Mon to the north and Mui Dien to the south shield a coastline over 400 meters long, featuring fine white sand, clear blue water, gentle waves, a slight incline, and gradually fading into the distance.
With its natural beauty bestowed by nature, Bai Mon - Mui Dai Lanh (Mui Dien) was designated as a national scenic monument on August 22, 2008. In 2014, it was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as one of the top 5 most famous lighthouses over 100 years old.
