I decided to hunt clouds with a low-clearance car, so I chose Bao Loc as my camping spot for this trip. I discovered that Bao Loc still has many beautiful spots, and its tourism is developing. Bao Loc is also relatively close (more than 150km from my home), so it's convenient for a 2-day trip back and forth.
Regarding the route: for this trip, I experienced a new route via the Phan Thiet Expressway - DT766 - Deo Ta Pua Pass - National Highway 20. There's only one section, Deo Ta Pua Pass, which has quite a few potholes and is a bit challenging to drive through, but driving slowly makes it manageable. It took me nearly 3 hours to get there, which is quite fast, isn't it? You can take this route to Da Lat to avoid the section of National Highway 20 through Dinh Quan district, Tan Phu, Dong Nai province.
About the camping spot, it's located on a hill nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, with cool weather and strong winds at night. My low-clearance sedan with front-wheel drive managed to reach the destination; it just required careful steering and a bit of engine power to climb the hill. Looking down from Bat Up Hill to Bao Loc city, the view is quite impressive, isn't it? There's water and restroom facilities here, and the cost is self-managed at only 100,000 VND per person. Feel free to watch the video or leave comments below if you have any questions about this camping spot.
I traveled alone on this trip, so I slept in my car. It was the end of the rainy season, but there was an unexpected ending the next morning.
I went just before Christmas this year, so I'd like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year 2024! Please join me in watching and experiencing this journey. Remember to like and subscribe to support me for future trips!"
