This was a trip where I provided logistics support for four cyclists from Long Thanh - Dong Nai to Con Dao. I came up with this bold idea and invited them to bring their bicycles to the island, both to challenge ourselves and to experience cycling on the roads of Con Dao. Everyone in the group was extremely excited, and many memorable moments were created during the trip. It was my first time visiting Con Dao, but it left me with many unforgettable memories. Our group camped overnight at Dam Trau Beach, but a sudden fear in the middle of the night led us to pack up our tents together and return to the district center; this became one of the most memorable moments of the trip.
🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️We spent less than 24 hours on the island, so our time was limited for exploring the entire island, but it was enough for us to visit famous spots, swim, cycle, and enjoy various drinks and Con Dao coconut ice cream. Despite the 4-hour boat ride, the sea was calm during this season, and everyone felt relaxed and eager to explore the island endlessly. Our group also had an interesting experience releasing turtles into the sea at Hon Bay Canh in Con Dao National Park; everyone was delighted by the tiny baby turtles.
