That's a good knot for its purpose. It is pointless to try to make some people understand the mechanics of different knots... like shock absorber fishing knots that prevent the line from snapping. Thanks for sharing!!!!

No it isn't - a blood knot is commonly used to splice lines together, similar to a uni-knot.
