t has always been a difficult task to correct the foot drop post-stroke but not any more if someone has been rehabilitated with FES ( functional electrical stimulation, ODFS pace). Patient in Early stage of Rehabilitation post stroke..we have used ODFS pace as a foot drop stimulator to improve walking along with other exercise protocol. This clearly suggests that ODFS will not make you depend on it post-use, it will make you independent with walking.
