With the 1946 formation of "The League of Heroes" in Chicago, the country is introduced to the first ever Superhero Labor Union. Founded by The Grey Raven, his kid sidekick Sparrow, and the amazing Blue Blaze, The League of Heroes was a beacon of hope against evil and tyranny in Chicago. Now twenty years later, as The League is about to expand nationally, an old adversary makes a murderous comeback. Drawn by the rampage, the former sidekick Sparrow returns to the city--and The League--for the first time in years.

So this movie was released years before actual comic series? As per IMDB both were done by Kyle Higgins. I got to this via Radiant Black and their references to C.O.W.L

That's correct! The League was Kyle Higgins' thesis film at Chapman University. It became the inspiration for C.O.W.L. in 2014.

After reading Radiant Black and watching this I'm trying to buy the book but I having trouble finding them in Canada. I could buy them from Amazon but I'd prefer anywhere else.

All the money in live action for the big two and these people do a better job. Proof you don’t have to change the source material to make a good life action. Make live action good again!!!
