Best way to learn is stare at visual studio and some documentation and try to make stuff. Follow along with a KZfaq tutorial on SFML or some graphics library for free if you need to, no need to spend money on anything.

Search the settings from Visual Studio, you might find something

If you didn't know it utill now, we use 'make' when using with multiple files like .h in this case, search how to 'make'
