Kerala style chemmeen fry is a special spicy masala coated prawns fry recipe which is served commonly with steamed rice.
Ingredients
Prawns - 1 kg
Chilli powder - 1 tsp + 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - half tsp
coriander powder - 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
garam masala powder - quarter tsp
vinegar - 3 tbsp
pepper powder - half tsp
shallots - 20 numbers
garlic - 1 pod
curry leaves
salt
coconut oil

A great video on making tasty and spicy Kerala style Chemmeen Fry at home. Very quick and easy recipe. Simple and flavourful ingredients. The process and steps are well explained. Helpful tips provided. Coconut oil is the best for this dish. Nicely prepared masala. Coriander powder really adds a unique flavour to seafoods. Perfectly shallow fried, coated, cooked, plated, and presented. The nadan prawns roast looks beautiful and delicious. A great side dish for rice, chappathi, etc. A must try. Thanks for sharing!

I made it recently after watching this. Did a few changes and it was delicious. Marinated it for a few hours. Frying in coconut oil was a game changer. Added the coriander powder while frying and omitted the perunjeerakam . Thank you. This recipe is for keeps.
