You know, I don't think any other organist could persuade me to listen to a complete Cesar Franck chorale! I would have said that I don't understand it. Yet, Gert, you give attention to every single detail so that we hear all the tones and colours in the various melodies. On top of that, you add the mood and emotion. I love the way that even your posture through the different parts tells us more of the story. I was completely absorbed in the music. And I'm so surprised to hear myself saying all that!!!! But I shouldn't be - knowing the way you play with your hands, feet and your heart. Thank you for this treat. God bless you both and all of 'Team Gert'

The CD is wonderful, as is the playing and registrations of this piece in which Gert uses the instrument to be a full orchestra with varied and interesting sounds and dynamics.

Franck's Choral 3 brings the word "technical" to my mind and hence is not inherently moving to me, but your performance transcended my (or the piece's) thickness and kept me tuned in to the finale. Thank you for sharing again and again your awesome talent.

Hello Gert! What a beautiful instrument to play this piece on. It was full but not harsh. The melodies just sang out with romantic resonance! You play on many organs, but I must say this one is my favorite! PS: come to Milwaukee, Wisconsin! The Midwest US needs to hear your versatility and Music that you so wonderfully interpret, especially your improvisations!!!

Well done Gert, great performance, superb sound ! What make is that organ? Is it fully electronic or electronic control on the pipes! It has a real guts sound and a real roar from FFF to ppp.

Ooooo - all the registrations - 'chuffy' pipes and contrasts!! Needs a wider audience - especially those who think organs are boring (brought up on soggy voicing of some British chirches....
