C strip really makes the mustang pop. I did same thing to my 68 coupe.

Yes, very impressive work and option choices! Really hate to see this end but being able to enjoy the fruits of your labor is what it is all about. Please follow up with some videos of your driving adventures. If I may offer some advice, since Canada has such long winters, and you certainly don't want to get bored, keep your eyes open for a new project. Just never know what's out there just waiting for you.

I just did this and this video was very helpful. I would say at around 16:00 you bend part of the stripe up to match the fender body line. This is too noticeable in my opinion. It is better to not try and make the decal match the body line since they are never exact. Line up your fenders and then make the decal look straight as a whole even if you don't get that perfect 1/8 separation all the way.

I am glad it helped, yes following the body line is dangerous but the good news is the stripe is holding great.

Wow, that stripe just transformed it into a whole different car. Beautiful, hope you get year's of enjoyment out of it, oh and the wheels look awesome, great choice. 👍

yes, I find it accentuates the body lines that are not easy to see on there own.

Wow, fruition of a long project! It really looks nice Wally. Happy cruising ahead, motoring down the road in a device of your own contrivance. One of the best feelings ever…

@@68mustangrestoration34 You're welcome . I've purchased the glass polishing kit that worked well on your car, will try it on my 1971 Ford Capri!

Be carefull as the super abrasive pad cuts quickly so use sparingly. The more you use it the longer it will take you to remove the scratches left by it. I am talking 20 30 minutes so be patient

@@68mustangrestoration34 Thanks for the tips, it's kind of scary to use, but I will be patient!

Love the stripe! Great job Wally. Enjoy all the great work you have done and put some miles on that car. You need to carry on and show videos of you driving.

One trick I did was drive one side of the car on ramps front and rear to get it up and easier to work on

YES... getting "square" with the panel is key to getting a straight line
