13 Years ago on this day, the C151A trains started revenue service. It really is shocking to see how these trains are 13 years of age and they do not really look that old to me. This was taken before the one-step braking was implemented in the C151A trains. With all that aside, Happy 13th Anniversary, C151A!

On the same day, C151B set 641/642 also returned from a short hiatus, and what's more, IT SERVED EWL! Since the very day that this fella was marked as "Not Spotted" on the Spotters website, I have been anticipating that it would serve EWL once it returns, and guess what IT FINALLY DID!🥳🎉What a coincidence and a wish come true on the very day that the C151As turned 13!

Coincidentially, 563/564 also went out to EWL on this very day via 1 of the UPD Input slots!

This year really have lots of rail events happening in Singapore alr, although still have 1 month left until the first half finish

Yep, I also loved them since I was a train enthus. What made it better is the one step braking on them now

@@sgtrainstransportation Definitely better now with the one step braking! I am hoping they will make a return to CAL/CGL on a regular basis again alongside the KSF Bs Cs, and R151s

Amongst all 35 trains, they are split up into 2 batches. - 501/502 to 545/544 make up Batch 1 - 545/546 to 569/570 make up Batch 2

Batch 1 was bought for the JEMP and boosting NSEWL fleet while Batch 2 was bought ahead of NSL Extension opening. So means, C151A is really more of a 'supportive' role model of the two lines especially with new extensions
