Good morning maam, I've learned a lot from your video lecture. I am now aware, soon if I travel to other countries. I will do research for their cultures, for the sake of respect.

ACMILLAH ALI Learning about other cultures helps us understand different perspective within the world in which we live. Culture is very important. Cultural diversity helps us recognize and respect “ways of being” that are not necessarily our own. culture is what helps you individually decide what to do when there are unforeseen circumstances. if you had no culture (which is impossible) then your society would be chaotic.

Culture can be defined as all the ways of life including arts, beliefs and institutions of a population that are passed down from generation to generation. We do not understand when we see people are doing things that seem incompatible to what we know. When Globalization came into the picture, we came to realize that there are more stories at the many countries in the world. In your lecture, I am glad that you emphasized that culture shall not be seen as a barrier but rather a factor to consider to make effective and meaningful communication to the world.
