I’m very glad I was granted the opportunity to see this! This was my last chance to see a BCOL Barn since 4609 left Ontario… RIP C40-8M’s

Very sad that those C40-8M units are retiring. I guess 4609 will be only Barn left! Subbed too!

Thank you! It is very sad to see these go:( at least I saw this! And for the moment 4609 Is the last C40-8M left. Your lucky you saw it because it’s future is kinda bleak.

wow this is quiet sad all these locomotives going to scrap. do you know where they are going to I can email the company and see if they can preserve any

It is sad:( but this batch is headed for storage not scrap. No I don’t know where you can email anyone from CN. But I do know a couple people tho… and more than likely CN will donate the last one in service as one does survive in service and it’s in BC. It’s BCOL 4609.

@@railsofontario3029 I have heard. I really do hope that at least one or two locomotives in this video are donated by cn or someone. I'm sure many museums would gladly take a bcol/cn cowl :(
