Thank you~!! Just one thing to ask Can not use a symmetry object here?
@CGDreamsTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Maybe its worth a try, but of course you would need to make it editable and separate the two objects so the eyes can open and close with independent lashes.

Hi CGDreams, this technique worked perfectly for me until it came to animating my character. The eyelash tips seem to want to point forward at all times, though the roots remain rooted. So, for example, if front camera is pointing at my character, and my character turns her head left, the eyelashes will continue to point towards the front camera and will clip through the face. I have tried dozens of ways to fix this or understand it (including trying this technique on different character models), but nothing so far. Any knowledge on how to fix/get around this? I am stumped on how to add eyelashes to my character without directly applying them to my mesh. Thanks for your helpful tutorials.

Il have a look into it. What normally causes such issues is having the wrong priorities, such as the surface deformer put before the skin deformer.

My buddy figured out a workaround... We just rotate the splines themselves to the correct position and key it throughout the animation... It's an extra thing to key, but this seems like the best way to create eyelashes, so I say it's worth it. Thanks for replying!

Hey, this is really cool but I have a problem. When I'm moving my base object (the sphere in your case) the spline is following not precisely but with some delay which makes for some really unpresentable results. Is there some setting that I might be overlooking? Thank you
@CGDreamsTutorials5 жыл бұрын
In nearly all such cases of delay it's the order of operations and priorities. This is a issue that can be resolved but can be a challenge to get your head around.

@@CGDreamsTutorials how do I change priorities?

@@mehfin this is not a topic that be covered in a few sentences. Do a Google or search in KZfaq. The user guide also covers this. This is a area that many dislike but must be learnt.

Hi, i did all of this, but the eyelashes dont appear on the render
@CGDreamsTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Assuming you made the lashes correctly it sounds like for some reason you may be missing the "Hair Render" effect in the render setting, or its turned off.

Why does it just look like a solid brown thing in render? Doesn’t look like hair
@CGDreamsTutorials11 ай бұрын
This would indicate that you have not set up the render engine with the appropriate material for hair. I would need to know more on this to be certain.
