C5 Corvette Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement

Today we are repairing yet another part in our 2001 Corvette, the windshield wiper motor. This is not an uncommon problem for the C5 Corvettes, especially when the cowl drains (udders) are clogged! We go through the steps to change ours, as well as painting the cowl trim piece!

I spent the good part of an afternoon trying to line up the timing on the transmission linkage. Setting it at the drive position is key. Thank you for uploading this. I can drive my C5 in the rain again.

Nice... the job came out great... I believe there's an utter on the passenger side as well...

If there is, it's well hidden. I took everything apart to clean it and didn't notice any accumulation of leaves and such on the passenger side and did not see and obvious utter to be removed

When u do a video it is best to actually show the work instead of just talking non stop. actual hands on removal of the windshield wipr cover and the black gromets themselves. From start to end would be best.

Where can we still get the plastic retainers for the cowl itself? Mine is missing some and I am about to do this project and figured Might as well do it right! Thanks!
