Thank you so much! That was one of our main goals with this channel - trying to show the world what it really is like living with a disability. We control what we can, which is our attitudes!

I live in San Francisco and I hear nothing of this research at UCSF. I want mapping.

Chad Folkers Reggie Edgertons lab at UCLA would likely be the closest spot for you. What I’m doing in Louisville is pretty unique and had to relocate here to be involved

Was just thinking about the possibility of moving to LA just this afternoon. How timely you would mention UCLA.

Great video Jerod! It's nice to see a fellow quad that deals with an array of daily struggles still see the bigger picture and realize how lucky and blessed they are. I feel the same way and I look at each day as a gift and a new opportunity. Regarding the new SCI research it is exciting, but after 23 and a half years in a chair I've focused my energy on being independent and moving on with my life. I don't want that to come off wrong because therapy is extremely important. I try to incorporate stretching & physical activity into my daily routine along with family and a full time job. It would be great if there was some breakthrough that improved my quality of life while on this earth, but I won't be devastated if it doesn't happen. Great channel and I look forward to watching more of your videos. Take care brother.

That’s a great point. I love being involved in research but I don’t count on it changing my life... it’d be great if it does but hopefully lays the groundwork for the next generation. I’ll have to check out your videos, thanks for the feedback!

Did you get any video of the EMG screen?

THE ANGRY QUAD just what’s in the background. I have another mapping session Thursday and I’ll see if I can get a few. Anything specific your looking for?

The EMG data literally shows what muscles are firing or not and how much! Fascinating data. Educational also..... Ask Dr. Harkema about it.@@PositivelyParalyzed
