Nice video. I am considering doing something similar. Whenever you do replace your clutch make sure you put a remote bleeder in. I have a Katech bleeder in mine and it makes life so much easier. Also I would consider changing your clutch master cylinder. There is an updated version from GM. It has a black reservoir that is labeled DOT4. It's fairly easy to replace and inexpensive.

yes the remote bleeders are nice. put one on with a mcleod rxt before. its a good setup.

Great content as usual. Consider a mini shop vac for the Ranger Method. I bought one just for that 2 years ago just for that. Goes a lot faster using it

It looks like it's been a year or so since this video was uploaded. How has the mod of adding holes for airflow helped? Also did it affect how quickly the discoloration was happening with the clutch fluid?

the fluid is lasting longer, no issues with sticking pedal or missed shifts. I've also switched to amsoil dot4 racing fluid.

Did you have any issues taking the reservoir that low? Always heard you should leave some fluid in the bottom to avoid introducing air into the line and having to bleed it.

just dont pump it when the reservior is empty. suck the old stuff out, refill, put the cap on and pump. do that until the fluid is clear. never had an issue doing this in the 5 years ive had the car.

Did you notice any difference in clutch performance after the clean out? How many times did you need to empty and refill the clutch fluid reservoir?

It maybe just me but it feels a little tighter with more bite, but again it could be in my head. About 3 flushes to get it clear.

@@mmills321 To my knowledge the the c7z mufflers are already setup. There is no modifications required.
