Witness: Emily Altman - Friend of Robert Durst
Robert Durst stands trial for the 2000 murder of friend Susan Berman. The trial began just before the pandemic in early 2020 and was halted two weeks in. The restart happened May 17, 2021, with the same jury panel.
The defendant’s wife Kathleen McCormack Durst went missing in 1982. Evidence and testimony would show that Robert Durst killed her, the prosecutor said. The defendant allegedly told Berman it was an accident and asked her for help. She served as his alibi.
Berman, 55, was shot execution-style at her Beverly Hills home in 2000, and the prosecution suggested that it was because of what she knew about Kathleen’s death and disappearance. As defense lawyer Dick DeGuerin would have it, however, Durst is innocent. His client only came across the body, panicked, and fled, he maintained.

Her smile, when she remembered that the one thing Durst didn’t like about the Jinx was that it portrayed him killing the dog, was absolutely impossible for her to hide. I can’t understand how she found that so amusing. Maybe I just can’t understand the loyalty and the level of friendship these witnesses had with Durst.

I don’t know if its loyalty as much as it is money (cars etc) or maybe Durst has dirt on them.

3:00 This interrogation is like trying to find the proberbial kneedle in the haystack. The NYTimes reports that this woman, Emily Altman, said [blurted] Durst was in LA when Susan was killed. Before Robert Durst had always denied it him being in LA. So, the prosecutor effort an the court patience was worthty. Today is September 18, 2021. Yesterday, Durst was found guilty.

Pffftt, what a liar! If your BFF's wife goes missing, and he later tells you she "died accidentally", not only would you "remember" that, but you would also ask questions and have all the details! She is perjuring herself. She claims she can't remember anything about what Bob Durst said to her, but sure can remember all the details about Kathie's affair. C'mon woman... I wonder how much Bob paid her not to remember.

I do not think this is loyally. He is still alive, and a multi millionaire, in jail. He could easily put a hit on any of these people . Honestly he is a serial killer, and would die happy to kill again. Via- whoever.
