Watched this twice now. Once on the telly, once on the computer. Wobbly? Real feel! Keep 'em coming ...

Keeping tabs on the mileposts keeps up the sense of speed. Great video.

This is the second of your videos I have watched. I read your comments below. I had no problems watching your video on quality 480 with Fullscreen. Yes there is a little wobble but to me it made the train ride more realistic. I found your video very nicely done. I look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing with us. Safe travels ahead. God bless.

I agree with the too much zoom. Too much zoom distorts and robs the sense of speed. I've seen much worse, though elsewhere. Thanks for your videos.

why is the electric cabling different here from the rest of the WCML as at video time around 18.38 it shows the top cable going over the top of the cross bars of the Cantry's and the top and bottom cables are separated by some wiring to keep the cables separate ? whereas further down the network and on the WCML North the cabling isn't like this

Nice journey, shame about those gantries and overhead wires against the sky, making it even duller.

I'd agree there's a wee bit too much zoom. Beware that zooming out can also be overdone, ending up with the ride looking too fast to take in the scenery plus giving a fisheye lens effect and bent verticals. The camera stability was pretty good IMO, given it is zoomed in more than usual.

You do yourself a disservice skraggie. Would be unrelastic without the track wooble and such. I guess zoom is personal, looks fine to me. Thanks -Jeremy

The signals are exceptionally clear and bright compared with many other cab rides I have watched. Is there a reason for this?

These new LED signals are the difference, they're so good

Question why is the engine sound different from the other 350 units?
I would recommend not using zoom at all, as it makes the ride look much slower

Good grief 6 people got on at Long Buckby to go North.

Noisy track...is it on iffy ground?

Seems a little slow? Were there speed restrictions or am I just impatient 😂

Why is he going so damn slow????

Slightly surprised to see you depart Northampton without a right away indicator - is that normal practice?
@PhilsECML3 жыл бұрын
Depends on dispatch procedures but I'm pretty sure at Northampton there are 1 or 2 very late Virgin / Avanti services and they use the RA indicators. LM / LNWR don't use them (they may do for empty stock moves I can't remember)
@barblx_t78923 жыл бұрын
@@PhilsECML Theres the very rare time where they actually use them for dispatching LNWR trains but I've only seen it being done once on a train heading to Euston

The senior conductor at time of departure checks signal is green closes doors then checks again signal is still green. He gets aboard and then closes his door and gives two on the buzzer to which the driver acknowledges and then proceeds.
