I don't remember the cereal but I have played the Atari and Colecovision CPK games. Fortunately no "toy store brawls of 1984" over them, unlike the dolls. 😸

Whatevs - everybody wanted a CPK! Didn’t matter if you were young, old, girl, boy! It was the craze of Christmas 1983! Yeah my brother, sister and me had one. I also collected the garbage pail kid stickers and then moved on to Transformers! I recall one time the garbage pail kid stickers became a problem at school. Too many kids (mostly boys) we’re preoccupied with trading! The memories of being a kid in the 1980’s! Good times!

The boy that played Dodger in The Garbage Pail Kids movie was also in later seasons of The Facts of Life.

+LWBII00 I throw it away. I thought about keeping little ziploc bags of some of them, but I think that starts to get into weird hoarder territory and might be a little too strange for even me.

Yep, this was probably the blandest cereal I ever ate as a kid. It was pretty on par with Kix and Cheerios trying to be a 'healthy' cereal. There's a reason why this cereal didn't last very long.

First of all Xavier Roberts cabbage patch kids are not original. The ones made in 1975 by Martha Nelson are the originals. Xavier just stole the idea from her and became rich at her expence.
