Man I’m so glad you got saved like when you guys hit my ears in 94’ i was an angry selfish blasphemous hurt and stupid kid lol I’m 35 years old and the last three or more years gods been moving in my life and I’m not the only one I’ve been told I have grown by ppl who don’t know of me as a very young man like under 12 I was on fire for god it was all I cared about then I hit 11-12 and all of a sudden I got smacked with gods not cool girls like dope and drink and long hair etc and off I went down a 20 year hole and when I started not caring anymore and humbled myself and came to Jesus again I saw you and your daughter speaking about your faith and it really did give me that ahhhh moment anyway you won’t see this or anything but anyway thanks for your testimony then and thank you for spreading the seed of life through Christ god bless

❤Thank you. I was raised in a denomination that is actually a cult. Best and most concise definition for "cult" I've ever heard is " organized heresy". I left that church and completely rejected Christianity for about 10 years and during that time I explored world religions, Wicca, New Age, etc (it was an easy slide with my background). During that time I hated Christians and Christianity. I thought all Christianity was equal to the garbage I was raised with. I had never really read the Bible because the denomination I was raised in, we weren't *discouraged* from reading the Bible, but we weren't *encouraged* either - we were more discouraged from reading it for ourselves and thinking for ourselves if that makes sense. They specialize in a lot of mental gymnastics and twisting Scripture way out of context. Finally, through a friend God put in my life, I decided to read for myself because I was done with the whole world religions and new age, etc. I didn't believe in anything at that point. So grateful God opened my eyes. Jesus is the only thing that makes sense.

Man, I was just thinking about your testimony today. I was reminiscing about the ups and downs of my own personal journey to Christ. I started listening to KoRn was I was 10 years old and your band was basically my best friend as a kid while I was struggling with a very difficult childhood. Years passed, and I was planning to commit suicide when I encountered the Holy Spirit. And then I remembered hearing you had become a Christian back in the day. I found your testimony and would watch all of your interviews about Christianity, listened to your album (on repeat) and read your whole book in one day (it's THAT good). All that stuff really helped me in my walk in ways I can't even convey. I know I'm just some dude on the internet but your story, honesty and the kindness you exude was a huge help for me when I was still struggling with faith and purpose. A lot's happened since then and God has really blessed my family over and over since we all got saved. I gave your book to a friend of mine, who is also a struggling Christian. I'm not sure if he's read it yet but he's getting better and better everyday by renewing his faith. We talk about God and life and music and have really become brothers in the short time we've known each other. His mom is having surgery Wednesday and if you or anyone reading this could send up a prayer for her I know he'd appreciate it. God bless you, Brian. And keep on fighting the good fight!

When you guys were exploding in the 90s my band was exploding locally.We were distracted by drugs,alcohol,and evil women.I was the first sober guy.I was the guy who usually owned everything,hauled everything,set up everything,and made arrangements with the club owners. I saw the same thing you talk about.Fists in the air,people in worship mode while they were drunk and high.I walked away from it even though it was just a local thing.Christ spoke of the times we live in right now and what we see happening with currency,social credit,aka "the mark". "He who endureth to the end,the same shall be saved" What you are doing is awesome and righteous.

2:25 literally brought me to tears, I fell away from God, sin and shame separated me. More then that though was the Hypocritical judgmental that kept me from coming back to Christ. Cause I feared rejection, I feared condemnation, not from God but from people. Which I realize now is foolish, that the ONLY one I have to answer to is GOD. If other Christians are so petty as to judge me by my struggles, that's not my problem it's THEIRS.

I’ve been trying to get a better/closer relationship with god. Praying more than ever. As I too used to be atheist. Christians scared the shit out of me with their delivery and the fear mongering. So I spent a lot of years unsure and distant from all religion. The last few years I’ve been working on my faith and trying to build a stronger connection. I’m more spiritual than “religious”.. I too have also struggled horribly with depression, anxiety, self doubt, self esteem. Etc. it’s been super challenging for me but I keep pushing. I love to see that you’ve stayed true to who you are on your journey regardless of obstacles and people judging.🙏

Everyday I try to love myself but when Ilook in the mirror I see disgust . I have struggle my entire life with depression and have just recently came along way with that. If I could only get my teeth fixed I could hold my head high and feel okay in public or interact with people besides social media. It's hard being 34 and have shut out the world for 10+ years over a physical attribute. I have wasted so much of my life and I can't fix it kills me daily. If anyone else has the same problem, just know your not alone and I wish you the best. I got to meet Brian in 2016 and I was scared to death to even say hello because of this issue but it was one of the highlights of my life and I'm grateful for the opportunity to see him in person . I have missed you posting, Brian. You have such wisdom founded through a strong faith in Jesus our Savior. People don't look at themselves when they're criticizing others. I'm guilty of it too. Satan uses the lie that Christians are perfect and therefore must act accordingly. His lie has worked for 1000s of years and will continue to do so until individuals see past the lie & realize they, themselves are hypocrites too & they're in need of a savior. Christians are forgiven because of Christ's work on the cross, not anything we did. That doesn't give us license to do as we please, which disrespects the suffering & anguish He went through. Do we still stumble & sometimes fall, you betcha. However, we get back up, lean on Christ, keep renewing our minds through His Word & keep on walking. Thanks for the post.
