Mountain Falls Luxury RV Resort has been the Skinner's home resort for nearly 10 years now. It's a Class A motorhome resort open to both renters and owners in the mountains of North Carolina.
The Skinners discovered Mountain Falls shortly after Mike's retirement from full-time NASCAR racing. Their first lot was closer to the entrance of the park -- a nice little lot to park the motorhome with some beautiful landscaping. A few years later, Mountain Falls started to develop The Ridge. It's a section of lots with breathtaking views that enable owners to also build a little casita--well, cabin. It's a full-blown cabin. Join Angie Skinner as she shows you their lot, cabin and Bar 39!
Angie wanted the front of the cabin to look like something from a fairytale, but with a Western edge. On the inside, it's very rustic, but again with a Western edge. What's your favorite decor vibe?

I am absolutely overwhelmed by what you have done with the property and your amazing home... I also laugh when you keep saying that you haven't got flowers yet when from Florida standards you would be considered in full Bloom. You and Mike have created an extraordinary space and thank you so much for sharing the video. I felt like I was there.

Nice we looked at the lots way back in 2015 when Hilary and Joy Pruitt was the sellers of the lots, love this place someday we might get there thanks for the tour

Hoping to see you in October @ mountain Falls. We love to party! Our friends are Chevy dealership owners along with 13 others. We stayed 5 lots away from you last time on the ridge. I’ll help you grow your audience. We live in Florida on the beach in St Pete..we are like green acres, I’d rather be in the mountains and my wife in the city!

How awesome Angie...I always admired your special spot and it’s more beautiful than I even imagined. I too am a member of the bird nerd club, and I absolutely love flowers and gardening as well. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing - I agree that Mountain Falls really is one of the prettiest places anywhere.

We love Lake Toxaway. Growing up we vacationed there every summer. My parents bought a place right on the lake on east shore drive.

Mountain Falls was one of our very best experiences with our bus. We stayed in 2019 for two weeks and drove past your lovely cabin everyday. My husband loved the Bronco, I loved the water falls. The views are amazing, the people were warm and welcoming. We had a great time and yes…we too looked at buying a lot…but our rig dream has been downsized. We went from a bus to an Airstream classic. The Airstream allows us to chase our passion for music. The bus was wonderful but the Airstream allows us to get into smaller venues. Again thank you for a peek into the luxury world at Mountain Falls…and I agree…the bears can be aggressive. We found out the hard way. ;-)
