When visiting the beautiful Fire Brigade Museum in Borculo, a number of disasters involving the fire brigade were recreated in Lego. Do you recognize this railway situation? Furthermore, a conductor with a bit of a giggle at Amsterdam Zuid, a few strange light signals and a stunt pigeon at The Hague HS. Enjoy watching!

The signal has no back/enhanced visibility plate, something it appears to share only with other signals under structures and in tunnels.

What does the smallish blinking light at the end of a station platform mean? For example at 26:55, right above a sign with the letter V.

The light indicates when a train can safely leave the station. If it’s blinking the train can leave, if it’s off it is not safe.

This is a signal for the conductor, indicating the signal for the driver to be safe. That signal is not always visible to the conductor. The V stands for Vertrek, meaning Depart, he can start closing the doors.

Leuke rit, altijd leuk als treinen een hele omweg nemen om op bestemming te komen in plaats van gewoon direct, in dit geval was via Gouda een stuk sneller namelijk

@@vigneshaithal Thanks, this saves me a lot of time answering questions to specific situations, also there are two tunnels in this video. Our track of arrival at Schiphol is occupied by a delayed train. At 33:14 you can see the signal in front of the platform turn from red to yellow, and we can enter the station.

14:04 Is that a new paint scheme or the dirtiest looking train I've seen yet on an NL channel? 28:50 Signal is VERY hard to see against that background. {^_^}

That signal is the second one I have seen with a missing back plate. It seems it is removed on purpose.. Curious about the why.

Voorschoten, 58:15. Die conducteur heeft niet helemaal z'n dag, zo te horen. De duif is schijnbaar liever aan stukjes. En als die VIRM een tweedehands auto was, zou ik hem overslaan: 20 jaar oud en slechts 100.000 op de teller, really?

@@CabviewHollandGewoon mee doorgaan :) Er zijn er ook genoeg die wel kloppen, en ik stoor me er niet aan. Ik vind het juist leuk om te zien wat er aan variatie voorbij komt.
