Thank you so much for this. It's the best Ave Maria ever written, I think. I've loved it since I first heard Sumi Jo do it on her album 'Prayers'. Have a nice piano arrangement by Julian Yu which I'm working on now. I LOVE this tune so much. Much prefer it to Gounod, Schumann, Tesoreiro etc. And love this c/t version ; ) Thx for the post.

I 'feel' that Caccini would have loved this version...and then I wonder what Farinelli might have done 100 years or so after Caccini's death. What a beautiful piece, executed beautifully.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the REAL author in the description and most foreign viewers didn't notice the Last name Vavilov (Vladimir Vavilov, a USSR composer), who was the ACTUAL author of this Ave Maria. He used to give well-known names of authors to his own music. They do not have any realtion to his musical compositions
