Seriously, what is the counterplay against subs? Low detect range made even lower by diving. Hard to spot the damn things at a distance while they're sending deadly torpedoes. Destroyers can depth charge but that involves overextending to where the enemy sub is at while getting shot by the enemy team. Only thing I can think of is that if a flank collapses any sub is going to be left behind and picked off. Only benefit I can see is that people begin liking aircraft carriers again because everyone hates on subs while the aircraft carriers exclusively go for subs at the beginning of every match. This is just mind boggingly.

The counter play against subs is two fold: hydro acoustic search, and the pings. Hydro WILL detect subs within 2.7 km. Anyone who tells you they’ve experienced different is lying to you. The sonar pinging though is what the basement dwellers whine and cry about constantly. The constant pinging annoys them to no end. What they either fail or refuse to see is that the pings are a double edged sword. While they do mark your ship, they also give away the sub’s general position. The more a sub pings you, the better idea you have of their position. As soon as you see a sonar ping, follow the direction it came from. When you get near where there’s a white crescent shape every time the sub sends out a ping, your hydro should be running (if you have it). The sub will be right behind the white crescent. Deploy your depth charges there.

The 'Perfect Submarine' game is one where there are NO SUBS!. It's World of WARSHIPS! Not World of ASW.

that's the whole point with people like you. If we listen to you there would only be 10 ships in the game, we would heat ourselves with a wood fire and we would heal ourselves with herbs!

I'd say that the wider community moaned and complained and NOW subs are nurfed with lower battery time underwater, higher detectability and crap armour. i noticed no one was shooting at him.

Как-то враги совсем пассивные. Самолёты с бомбами один раз отправили, с гк вообще ни разу не стреляли.

Is the typhoon class in this game ?

The soviet typhoon is a ballistic missile sub meaning that they are not really usable in such a combat senario, these subs would be escorted by other subs to the launch position and back meaning you cannot expect to see these subs in the game ever.
