Nice to see you back! I tried sewing the ribbon on the tutu before I make the elastic channel. The tutu was uneven. It drove me CRAZY!!! I sew across tulle, then sew the ribbon on one side, sew in the elastic channel and then sew the other ribbon on the other edge. That way I have more control of keeping everything even. It’s more time, but I’am satisfied! Working with tulle is not for the faint heart ❤️

Yay girl you’re back on KZfaq. Thanks for this tutorial I will be trying a rainbow tutu now. Casandra can you share your stitch length and tension? I have been having too much puckering. I have test so many tension and stitch length and I am not getting the results I want.

My stitch length is at 3 And tension at 2 But every machine is different, there has to be a balance with the top thread and bobbin thread , my thread at the top is 90weight

@@CachisCustomsthanks I will try this. I have done 3 tension and 3 stitch length and it’s giving me pucker so I will try your and see if it makes a difference. For my thread I just been using gutterman thread from Joann. I didn’t know the thread weight could affect it. Thanks for sharing.
