I got 4400 by equipping the FURY RING. I could only get 2000 prior to doing that.

Aerith is always in my party so I actually know how her basic mechanics work. Her tempest when done in wards (in general she does it, but for this mini game it has to be done in Wards) actually charges up this attack that releases a Fleeting Familiar (if it hits) that buffs all of Aerith's abilities except Sorceror's Storm. Fleeting Familiars can also stack up twice. It also cancels when you finish a combo so it finishes quicker. I also found Chrono Aegis helps a lot in this game with slowing down swarms of enemies that get close to you.

Transcendence did it for me. I didn’t know how it worked at first but it really destroys those Gigantuars once it’s done charging

First strike materia maxed out works too along with hermes shoes or speed chain demon key accessory

So, I had to search for tips for this damn mini game for way too long before someone mentioned that the wards for overcoming light and dark ones are super counterintuitive. I though you were supposed to use dark ward against lighttaurs and light ward against darktaurs because obviously they won't be weak to their _own_ element, but rather to the opposite. not sure how that didn't stop me from getting the rank 3 completion bonus on the first round with Aerith...

I'm actually the opposite. After Remake I learned how to build Aerith strong and I know how to play as her.

Aerith is one of my mains just because arcane ward magic spamming is extremely powerful and useful i prefer running cloud tifa and aerith but you could just as easily probably run yuffie tifa aerith or cloud yuffie tifa or cloud yuffie aerith really just depends on your party structure and how you use materia. I prefer using aerith as magic focused tifa as physical attack focused and cloud as a hybrid and its worked extremely well

Whwre do you get Luminous Ward? It doesn’t pop up on my abilities :/

this is a requirment to get one of the collectibles that goes outside jhonnys hotel it says to do it whilst looking for the proto relic can you get away with just doing it on normal even if you allready have the relic ?

The biggest problem with this game is all the extra padding they have which are the countless mini games. No one wants this garbage
