Wow! I had no clue so much was in this auction lot from Cabin Fever auctions. This is the perfect lot of cars for my industrial switchers to haul around. Check out my other channel @pinballmayhem

What an outstanding Haul and excellent rolling stock acquisition. For 20 dollars in one shot you got more rail cars than people amass in years of collecting.

Thanks Paul. I'm very happy with how well they cleaned up.

$20 for all that, WOW, terrific haul, Jeremy! It just goes to show you that there are still deals to be found out there. Thanks for sharing your latest acquisition.

Thanks Brad. I'm really happy with how good they look all cleaned up. It was fun to see the string of blue green PC cars. That was something I never knew I needed 🤣😁🤯

With that steam locomotive shell, instead of throwing it away, you could use it and make a kids play house out of it on your layout there. I think that latter is a Plastic vill latter that goes on a engineer if I remember correctly.

Awesome deal! You STOLE it at that price!!

Thanks, they certainly cleaned up nicely.

If I remember correctly, alot of the mpc cabooses only had one cuppler on them, and for the mpc rolling stock cars, I would upgrade the trucks to metal sprung trucks that have the Journal boxes on them with the metal cupplers.
@TooManyHobbiesJeremy8 күн бұрын
That would be an excellent upgrade for these cars.

Very nice! You got enough there for a good switching operation. You could use that steam engine shell for a scrapyard scene. For twenty bucks, you can't beat it. I'll offer you $20.01 for the lot.🤔😉 An excellent video, as always.

I'm glad you liked the video. Great idea for the steam engine shell.

What a gold mine! What those trains lack in weight they make up in color! I like the box car and orange caboose

Agreed! It was really fun to see all the cars together after they were cleaned up.

With the crane you got, maybe those other pices in the bag went to it, but I think that crane sat on a platform stand that is black color or silver color.

I took a small gamble and it worked out well for me. I'm impressed at how well they all cleaned up. Plus I really like running same color trains (the red train, the yellow train etc)

Thanks! I love all the bright colors. It's been fun running the "yellow" train etc.

The train car with the broken cuppler on it at 1:44 minutes is a log dump car.

Hi Jeremy you got a great bargain from Cabin Fever Auctions I appreciate you sharing. Were you the only bidder on that lot? I think that is worth at least roughly 60 to 80 max. I had some bad luck with Cabin Fever Auctions I won a 1988 Lionel Southern Pacific FM Trainmaster, doesn't work the motors and lights work but the motors worm gears does not engage with the trucks, so runs but does not move. Maybe I will have better luck next time.
@TooManyHobbiesJeremy22 күн бұрын
Thanks! Minimum bid is $5. While I could have put a bid of $20 instead I used maxbid. So there was at least 1 other bidder. Understood buying something broken. There is no guarantees of operating condition and nothing is tested. I have been lucky in that most of the stuff I have purchased - I have been able to fix myself.

How are you going to clean off the permanent marker inside the gondola car? I can not believe someone would write on it like that
@TooManyHobbiesJeremy8 күн бұрын
An excellent question. Rubbing alcohol works great to remove permanent marker. That got 99.9 percent of it. Naphtha got the rest of it.

Hi Tom, glad you liked the shirt (and hopefully the video ). My "temporary" layout is approx. 13 x 9. Thanks for the great comment.

@@TooManyHobbiesJeremy when do you get out the American Flyer?
@TooManyHobbiesJeremy20 күн бұрын
Excellent question. I'll get it out if I purchase some new pieces. Truth is I really like the O gauge stuff better. I will hang onto the AF because that's where the bug for fixing stuff started. Plus I have all of my Dad's pieces that he got when he was a young lad.
