Maybe biased as a Quins fan, but I can't understand why he's not getting a look-in for England. Ticks a lot of boxes for what's needed right now: rapid, powerful, great finisher, excellent work rate in attack and defence. He can sometimes have problems in the air, but not exactly atrocious. Really a shame that he got dropped from the World Cup squad, he could make a big difference imo.

I think unfortunately the international game is so much a tactical kicking battle that a good kick chase and great aerial skill are the bare minimum required,everything else is a nice to have. It’s a shame because we got some very exciting players who don’t get game time as a result

The way England played at the World Cup Jonah Lomu would have struggled to make an impact in fairness - the wings were there to chase kicks, not score tries. He might have a look in now May has retired and England should be looking to expand on their gameplan.

I’ve had the pleasure of having a season ticket to The Stoop for 22/23 and he was by far the best thing about that season for us. He fully deserves to be in that Enlgand squad. I personally, absolutely wholeheartedly thought he should’ve been at the World Cup with England; aside from a massive Quins bias that I obviously have, how do you not take statistically the best winger in England?! Especially when he’s top try scorer, top metres made in his position and top tackler in his position. I really hope he’ll be part of Englands plans post World Cup.

Interesting that he has been dropped, as a Quins fan we'll happily have him back for the new season but I do feel he is ready for the big time. Depends on what type of wingers you want in your squad I guess, I prefer wingers like Murley or Nowell- not lightning quick but they can step, defend, break tackles and they go looking for work. In my opinion, an international winger should posses those elements- I'm not quite as keen on wingers who are just rapid in a straight line and can finish well for example Rees Zammit or May (or Ashton back in the day).
