Nice work! Thanks for sharing this, invaluable info. I had a wobbly bottom antenna and thought I had to pull it all apart to tighten it up. Didn't realise you can actually unscrew the antennas off and tighten the nut that's on the SMA plug so luckily it was a super easy fix for me! All the best

I have an upgraded fan to install into my goggles... just been waiting for someone to drop a proper teardown video to show me what I'm in for. Yay! (ugh)

Any idea what the USB port on the RF board is for? Im tempted to try and tap some voltage from it for an arduino head tracker....

May I know those fans detail? Maybe I can replace and found a better to solve overheat problem after replace heatsink plate.

the cooling also seems lacking for eyes, its only that little bottom fan that sucks the air through the wents into the googles and out of the bottom or?

Oke.. so now we know what's going on with these goggles.. my issues are.. the fog up.. I usually get only 1 green channel the rest is usually all orange. Sometime times wierd collared stripes on my screen when booting up.. I think I'm going to ship my goggles back to walksnail for repair.. only 4 mounth old.

@@salt4yapepper yes i upgrade heatsink plate and apply thin layer of thermal past if you apply thick layer of thermal past then problem don't fixed. Applied thin layer of thermal past and upgraded heatsink plate problem will be fixed.

Just got mine and the little exhaust fan is making noise like a wire or soemthingnis touching it. So pissed. Definitely sending back. Not worth disassembly effort for brand new goggles.

@@yawesomeyoutube yea ill do that. Didn't buy from them direct but ill see what they say. Honestly I'm going to mod them anyway at some point. Probably need to do something with the cooling regardless. They seem worth it if the support and innovation continues forward. Promising tech

Quick update, for anyone who might see this and be turned off from promising new tech outside of the evil DJI CORP. lol. My goggles are getting replaced and apparently the new heatsink will be pre installed along with latest firmware. So that's a good sign from Caddx. I'm willing to be patient since this is new tech and offered at such a reasonable price. Cheers

@swabby913 sorry do you mind me asking what email adress you use to correspond with caddex. I've got a black screen after replacing my bottom left antenna port.
