Because they are being sheep. I think he didn’t start playing soccer till later in life and they just assume this is the case. But yeah it’s one of those things that people hear (“he’s a speed merchant”) then repeat without checking and I also think he’s actually worked extremely hard to improve the technical aspect of his game. So it’s definitely working 😂! But he looks explosive, fast, strong and incredible handles and balance especially for the speed he operates. Even in the friendly I don’t recall bad any bad giveaways. I also remember him almost scoring or assisting about 6 different times 😂!? He was by far the best non goalie for either team. Gaga also greatly impressed me! Can’t wait to see more of them and less Zimmerman long Ferreira Arriola etc!

@@SanFranFan30 Hmm. Maybe. Watching the highlights again, I did see two instances where he trivella'ed with his right, when a simpler ball with his left was more appropriate. However, he does have two cross-assists with his left. 4:53 and 5:28. He also has six goals in these clips with his left, so he's not useless with that foot.

True but he’s still young and his technical abilities isn’t terrible. He can dribble pretty well consistently, I think he needs to work more on his decision making, he has talent but he’s very raw

I think you’re completely wrong. His speed- quickness- explosiveness and strength are a full standard deviation from other pro players PLUS He works harder than his peers. I sincerely think this will be a massive year for him and he’ll make it to a bigger league barring serious injuries or setbacks.

I get what you’re trying to say but no mate you’re wrong on this one 😂 he’s only 18. Let him develop in a lower European league (Dutch, Belgian, Austrian, Spanish or English 2nd tier) and once he’s 22/23 judge him then
