I like Cade. I think he’s really good. I don’t ever ever ever think the debate will be Cade vs Luka tho. He may not even be the best in this class. Don’t be surprised if Kuminga is similar to Giannis or Kawhi in trajectory.

@@mikk6340 Kuminga and Cade are 19 and 20. We talking about the future right ? What does Kuminga’s IQ today have to do with what the NBA is gona look like in 2028 ? His IQ will improve just like Kawhi’s did and just like Giannis’ did and yes, I actually watched and followed both players since they were young players. That’s all I watch. Young players and have been for the last decade. JK has things Cade can never have no matter how hard he works and no matter how much film he watches.

@@shabazz360 no as of rn Cade has a higher ceiling than kuminga and he plays at pace his improvement is much more a lot of you are putting kuminga up there Giannis and kawhi is a good comparison defensive is not there I like Poole and kuminga but Cade has more potential and plays with more pressure is that a fact no?

Man with all due respect to other Rookie of the year candidates, but Cade is that guy, all around player, offensively, defensively, can create his own shots, create shots for his teammates, team player, and the list goes on. I am a Detroit fan, born and raised in Flint, 29 years old, I grew up during that 04 Pistons Era and Let me just say, Cade is that guy to get us back into title talk, alot sooner than ppl can imagine. People don't realize how good cade is because they never show the Pistons on National Television. Scottie and Evan are great players hands down, but I think its not fair that Cade didn't get the attention he deserved. I forgot what the stat was but only him and Michael Jordan achieved that stat as a rookie...Look at Rising stars challenge, Cade was doing it all. In front of our eyes, Bro was even setting up Evan for shots.. he didnt have to do that. but he did, majority of Evans shots came from Cade setting him up.

It's a two man race, but the messed up thing is that Cade isn't involved. Right now most the experts (people with voting power) have it between Barnes and Mobley. Cade is third place because he doesn't have the wins. Which is messed up cuz ROY shouldn't be about wins but rather individual stats.

@@jamourigeorge5088 Cade seems to take things personally... if he doesn't get it, the rest of the rookies will have some problems. I didn't mind Mobley, but he fades games every time someone brings him up.

Considering his predraft hype, Cade might not have had the "most impressive" rookie year of the draft class. However, there is no doubt who is the best player going foward. Cade is 3-5 years away from legit MVP discussion. So glad the Pistons drafted him!!

He is a very talented basketball player. He just needs to work on his handles, finishing, passing, rebounding, defense, 3pt shooting, mid range shooting, shot selection, leadership and athleticism to reach the level of a guy like Darius Garland
