Was invited down to Big Ant Studios to bring you guys some AFL 23 gameplay. Other creators have been in there during the week so I'm sure they'll cover more in depth stuff in the next few days! My first expectations weren't so great when seeing the grand final teaser but after watching this I can say the game actually looks amazing. The gameplay is also a massive step up from previous AFL titles. It the next few years you can only imagine how good future AFL titles will be.

Looks absolutley mint, Hopefully they update overalls throughout the season. The supposed reason the pies didn't wear the swooping kit in gather round was because the coin flip earlier that week made us the away team while the sponsor positioning's are based on our home jumper, would be guessing they maybe pull it out vs GWS or North in the next month or so.

This looks phenomenal. Can't wait to get stuck into it! Looks like a dedicated effort by Big Ant!

Even the effort that has been put into the crowd behind goal is awesome

Overall gameplay looks awesome with the cutscenes and goal celebrations. Excited to grind ProTeam and spend money on packs so we can fund the game and developers to improve it into the future!

Loving the graphics, looks pretty similar to fifa or 2k which is the jump we needed for an afl game

I watched the players upfield without the ball. Still running around like headless chooks I would love BigAnt to put some time into this as its been a problem on every Afl game ever made. Game looks great though I cant wait to play it great vid!

This is a great video Caden. Even though people will probably still make jokes about it I think it is safe to say that we are passed the whole "ps2 graphics" stuff because the graphics genuinely look good in an AFL game for once

Love all the guernsey options, all the stadiums and I spot a "management career" on the main menu which has piqued my interest

The atmosphere of this game is absolutely phenomenal!

I honestly wished they had MyCareer but it’s understandable since it’s all they could afford… Hopefully this will encourage them to keep getting better and make quality afl games! 2k version would be epic nevertheless this looks epic!!!

even the little things make this game seem so much better like the songs when they are running out sounds like its actually getting played at the stadium not like a audio file pasted on when they are running out

The animations are so smooth. In afl evo2, it was always so choppy. But the animation flow from the goal to the celebration was awesome

Do you think Collingwood will wear the swooping magpie guernsey this season ?

They have to fix the angles of the seats and stairs in the stands, especially during set shots. I noticed it in the still pics now it's all I notice.

They have every AFLW Stadium except the one where they played the Grand Final.

the movement off the ball looks really good. Always the biggest struggle with the Evo games is players get into position and just stop.

This looks to be the best game we have had yet, much smoother movements still a few things that could be worked on in future games like the marking contests but this looks to be a great starting platform. I can’t wait 😁

Pretty interesting in that first passage of play where Warner kicks it to the player just outside 50 who then kicks inside 50 - Warner is beelining from his initial kick straight to where this kick goes where the Sydney player spoils the ball for the easy crumb and goal. Hopefully these aren't set plays you can't defend.

Don't know how these rating are going to work most of the clubs player are all in the 80s and 90s, then just a massive drop off into the low 70s for some players. Won't be much difference between a good player and a bad player by the looks of things so it could get boring quickly. Will be interesting to see how they fix this.

The timer on the score board makes it a bit interesting I would rather it be set at 20 mins but the times moves faster then it only saying 2.5 mins or 5 mins or however you set it to
