Thanks! Love the shirts and masks. I've been trying to remember exactly how this line dance is and I couldn't find the version I was looking for. I'm from Calgary so this is what I was looking for!

We were taught this in High School. Still, 6 years later, I recall this dance when hanging out at local country bars. Might this be a Calgary classic?

We've been teaching lots of people from out of town this week. Have fun at the Stampede!

Lol! I was searching for a decent video of this so I can teach it to some junior high school students in Japan. It's funny that you guys are from Calgary because I am actually from Edmonton! :) Thanks for this! You will be partly responsible for the chaos that will ensue tomorrow haha.

Good demo video guys and love to see GUYS linedancing. They don't here in Vegas, figures it's a spectator sport to watch the girls between couples dances. This dance is actually called Slappin' Leather or Slap Leather and done to a much faster song in the US. It's been played in US country bars for way more than 20 years......and like the Tush Push, this dance is done exactly the same no matter what bar, city, state or coast you are on. Those are the only 2 dances that I've found unchanged no matter where I go. Can be a funny experience sometimes. Check out a local place on vacation, they call a dance you know and either the steps are completely different or it is an entirely different dance you do know by another name.
