Thank you for this video. I've been experiencing this problem "intermittently" for about a year, but recently it has become more frequent. After watching this video, I went to the driveway (where the car was disabled), with a 12V test light. While it wasn't a "volt meter", I saw significant dimming on the other side of that short, curved battery cable that goes to the alleged "problematic" fuse. I pressed the probe directly through the insulation, and still had significant dimming. I surmised that my issue was likely only the battery cable. However, the fuse itself was only $21.47 (tax included) from Amazon, so I replaced that too, as a precaution. Everything works well again, AND... as a bonus... somehow, I was finally able to eject the CD that was stuck in the player for the last 2 years, since I replaced the battery 😃. Your video likely saved me several hundreds of dollars in diagnostics and repairs, for something I did for less than $40. But just remember, folks. The reason WHY repair costs are typically what they are, is because it requires EXPERTISE, and frequently many hours to diagnose these problems. Thank goodness for technicians with this level of skill, for sharing these repairs with us. A sincere, heartfelt THANK YOU to you!!!

Great video! I have pretty much the same problem except for it never shuts off once it starts while I'm driving. It's always a no-start or a one-click at the starter or the dash stuff you should have your video. Is it possible that this could be the problem without it shutting off while driving and also could this be causing a parasitic drain on the battery?? I put a new battery in twice in the past and also replaced the starter when I replace the first. The starter was definitely bad I don't know if it was caused by that or if it was a separate issue. Anyway I guess my two questions or can it cause a parasitic drain on the battery and since it doesn't shut off while driving could it still be this fuse? Thanks in advance 👍

So I replaced this fuse block and another new battery third one crank right up has been running fine for the past couple of months boom same problem again no start just click at starter. What could possibly be going on that simply putting a brand new battery in would fix the problem for several. It won't even jump start mind you, you have to put a brand new battery in for it to crank once it's running it's fine no problems but as soon as you turn it off it will not crank again. Been doing this for a year now
