NRG is very good at recognizing positional mistakes. It allowed them to make the 'underdog' run against teams in NA that are traditionally out of position, and they are good enough at drafting to take advantage of these early mistakes with compositions that scale into mid game comps. While they didn't have the most difficult road to 2-1 going through pretty mediocre NA and EU teams, g2 was hyped as a team close to capable of beating the east. G2 got humbled in this one, got coach gapped too on this occasion. Thinkcard isn't the best coach in NA but he's never arrogant which i'd accuse Falco of being in game 1, he worked a comp that helps setup easier neeko ultimates, and used champions that spike reasonably well mid game to take advantage of any picks that they got out of that. On the other side, an Ego belveth and a composition of reasonably strong champions with only ok synergy, the plan was pretty sus with the comp overall imo. Falco didn't ego the 2nd draft nearly as bad, but kinda seemed based on play like the damage was done.

Same as a C9 fan... I was hoping C9 would play this style. NRG figured out how to play as an underdog and I really hope the LCS copy NRGs style. They're aggressive and play very well as a unit. I have held this belief for a long time but just taking people from around the world and having them move to a foreign country (the US to most,) does not create the same environment the players came from hence affecting game play. G2 must've went to the hospital before this series and asked the surgeon to amputate their hands with how badly they got demolished. Did not expect this shit to happen

And what's more shocking, is that EVERY ROLE G2 lost. Even BB's lane wasn't in his side. This NA team looking different

yike was absolute dogshit the whole swiss stage. Some shit he did or was not able to do is inexcusable. 0 impact, 0 ideas, 0 fire in his eyes. A walking puppet. The fact that he is a rookie is little to no excuse

this era never started to begin with if we're talking about the chance of winning worlds. Even in 2018 the finals weren't even remotely close, they've always been inconsistent at the worst times, it's very unfortunate.

This is the most entertaining cast.. from over confidence and cockiness and to laughing .. To I got a bad feeling… to grasping his Stuffed animal and holding back the tears.. to placing his head between his legs in silence and kissing eu’s ass goodbye. Brilliant content. I love g2.. and nrg. Just hilarious. Now all the excuses and justifications flowing. And the the draft. I really hope g2 makes it through.
