Yup, at least once you know this can happen you can account for it better. Just having feeder houses to allow labor acess can be super hard now unless the loops are very clean in the industry/farms. I think Sam said it might be meta for no GLP to start doing whole mixed industry/farm/housing blocks with many houses to avoid the jank.

So with favor you lose -2 each year passively. This can be reduced to -1 if you pay yourself lower salary than what you start the map with. Gifts only give maximum favor each 12 months so depending on what your salary is you can min max it with small or medium/large gifts each time 12 months have passed since last gift. Even with a small salary you can micro this to get surplus favor. Modern maps will now often have infinate repeating requests but older ones will have limited amount that will eventually run out.
