From time to time, Racer TV presents a video more special then the usual.
And this video, is one of those.
Today, you are not going to see a cafe racer, nor a Scrambler.
Maybe a little of both.
But it is so beautiful, i prefer to forget seeing the handlebar and tires.
This BMW R80 RT, is the work of Mark Ceilinger, from Slovenia.
The future owner of Custom shop called "Vintage Room Motorcycles".

A have watched a lot of racer tv videos and become more and more obsessed with cafe racers and vintage bikes.. I've just started my cousin's cb400t 1977 cafe/brat project....and i didn't know about mark ceilinger and his workshop..and i am slovenian.. Briliat piece of art....

Three comments: ONE: Thank YOU, Racer, for delighting our eye, sharpening our sense of style and proportion, fanning our passion. TWO: If the builder / photographer / filmmaker sent his work to you, it must be because he admires your work and senses a similar perfectionist drive; or perhaps -- and looking at this footage, I think this very probable -- he considers you an inspiration. THREE: You didn't say a word about Amulet's SOUND. But then, did you really need to? THAT'S IT: I'm going for a ride!

Without perfection, we are left with inadequacies. Without attention to detail, we're left with self doubt. This bike and it's builder are both a perfectionist and attentive as is the owner to his woman. The bike was his outlet in tough times and his reward was nothing short of magnificent. I trust his girlfriend is now well through his care of her. Thank you for sharing this story and of course, the bike. Zip~

Indeed this bike is a bit of the world scrambler and coffee recer, that does not take away its main attribute, in my view, the "vintage" that is noticeable in the upper insert on the engine, which gives a full view streamline, like the old PCC trams, that I saw as a child in the streets of my city. It is a detail that gives me great nostalgia, because it brings me back to a world of elegant and perfect objects. That's why electronic technology is not out of place but it crowns a design that attracts the eye. Hurra for the KZfaq recognition! Every day we are more members of this cult of perfect bikes. Congrats!

The level of polish, precision, yet so exposed by it's clean minimalist design. If there were any flaws at all they would be so easy to find, but there are none as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely beautiful. A double thumbs-up, RACER TV! :-)

Once you mentioned that the builder is a guitar player, and maybe not the professional builder as some perhaps, you actually explained it all ! This gentleman is an artist at his core ! Not to mention his affliction as a perfectionist ! It can be both a curse, and a gift at the same time ! Yeah great footage and beautiful machine. One gripe - the wheels. Don't like them, but honestly, in light of how good the rest of the bike is, it's only a minor gripe. Edit - well done on the award.
