Great builds,👍 don't tell me if you want to keep us in suspense, but do you intend to sell 1 or 2 and move onto a new project? I'm getting a lithium battery soon, do i need to update the reg/rec at the same time? Cheers 😁
@forthebold
@forthebold 6 жыл бұрын
There will be a 4th in the shop after these 2 are on the road, I might sell the GS. As for the reg/rec, if your bike is pre 1980 chances are you need to update it.

I'm in a country literally OBSESSED with Royal Enfields. The entire aftermarket scene here in India revolves around REs almost exclusively. Trying to find a short, sleek slip-on is literally impossible. I've currently ordered a "Short bottle" RE can which I'll be chopping fabricating a couple of baffles for. Would you suggest something else, perhaps?
@forthebold
@forthebold 6 жыл бұрын
I have troubles finding nice exhausts that slip on, it's always why I have to get them adapted and welded on. All the rest just seem too big.

Which K&N did you use? There’s a lot of choice at different price points
@forthebold
@forthebold 4 жыл бұрын
They’re all roughly the same price mark at about £40 per pod. As for the style there is a list of ones that’ll fit your bike.
@mrmatt8949
@mrmatt8949 4 жыл бұрын
For The Bold I ordered the ones that K&N suggested but they’re are too long and foul the frame. I can’t get them to sit right. This is so frustrating. RC-2314

@@forthebold What is the number of the K&Ns?
@forthebold
@forthebold 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry I can’t remember now and have no records of them. But if you measure you inlet diameter etc you can easily find some that fit
@mrmatt8949
@mrmatt8949 4 жыл бұрын
@@forthebold its not the inlet that thats the problem, it fitting within the frame. can you measure the length of the pods when you get a chance?

In that case I would always go to authentic dealers and get them to source the right ones, sometimes pay a little more but they'll be the correct ones or you can return them.
