If you are a fan of the Yamaha Virago, then you will love this video.
Among all Yamaha Virago projects, this one is definitely my favorite.
This great Cafe Racer project, is the work of American Sean Hogan, founder of "De Stijl Moto", in Portland, Oregon.
I hope you like it.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my English.

@@RACER_TV Love your channel brother - the attention to detail and the appreciation of form & function are exquisite. . Added to which your vids are *works of art* in their own right. Ever thought of making them even longer? I could easily watch an hour vid on just one bike, going into greater detail of the build. I appreciate you don't get paid for doing this work, but if you have lots of additional material, maybe just put it all in (in your artistic order) and see what the response is? Nothing to lose! 👍👍👍

A beautiful example! The front brake master cyclinder resiviour, or the lack thereof, is subtle but brilliant! I woild much like to see more builds from him in the future!

I used to ride an XJ750 in the 80s. I loved it's shaft drive but it was an inline four. I've since been drawn to the sounds and looks of big twins. The Virago is a shaft twin - and this version looks and sounds fabulous! Thank you for another great video!

For reasons of work and change of city I have been a little absent from the chanel, I have not even been able to hit the road in my modified Pulsar NS 200 and sadly I had to keep it in my daughter's garage because of not having space where I live. I'll be back soon. Virago was once a motorcycle scorned for trying to introduce changes to the v twin engines, they accused it of being a poor attempt to attract customers from the Harley segment, true or false, it always attracted me and still does and this fabulous project It shows that it is a motorcycle to create living dreams.Saludos desde León Guanajuato México

Very nice to see you here my dear Alejandro. Don't worry, I understand you. You are right about the first Virago's generation. Commercially, it had a poor success. But everything changed with the 2º generation after 1984. It became a realy interesting motorcycle compared with a harley. 1983 Yamaha Virago XV 750 was my first motorcycle and vehicle I bought myself. It was a very good and reliable motorcycle. Watching this video makes me want to get another one😊. Too bad for me I don't have the time to work on one 🙁.

This is a very well thought-out build that has a well executed design. The exhaust works perfectly with this bike. I would enjoy hearing the V-twin being ridden too! The single carburetor really cleans up the area under the fuel tank. Very nice! Thank you for Racer TV, the Café racers only choice! Hope you are well in Portugal. Ride safe my friend.... cheers.

If I were to define this project in one word it would be MONEY and lots of it . It's a beautiful bike and top notch workmanship ,but you can be sure this motorcycle was in the very high 5 digits. Also it's a complete custom meaning if you do intend to use it maintaining it is going to be very expensive , at least it looks as though the suspension and brakes are off the shelf parts . Still as I said a great show bike and a fabulous marketing tool for their company . Thanks for the video .
