These jumpscares are really weird. Like they are in front of you for 3 seconds and then grab you.

Yeah, the character is basically waiting for you to stay still so that they can start the "jumpscare" animation. You can see that in tge way they follow you, they basically stop when they're close enough in order to start the animation but it's not well executed...

@@whannabi it's not that it's their pathfinding, in their time the human or "goal" is Still their when really the player moved out of the way and the ai has to recreate the path again, I do not think they used an if statement.

I think the weird way they stop is them trying to make a path towards you again because the path they made in the time they are chasing you is still there so they should've added a script where if the players moves then recreate the path, but idk its just me.

Should've made it so that when the player is being chased and is close to the enemy, the enemy should turn off pathfinding and use walk to.

They just have lazy pathfinding, the most basic of all path finding but it's only difference is that is trying to get to the player.

In my opinion the 1st one was shit The map was too small Jumping towards something else of was way too hard The game in general would fucking piss me off when I get stuck inside of the walls running from the neighbor I really hope this game will be different
